Fall Arrest
If a fall (of any distance) could occur in any direction from the anchor point, the worker is in fall arrest.
“A fall arrest system physically links the user to the workplace structure by a series of interconnected components (e.g. anchor point, connector,
shock absorbing lanyard and harness) which arrests the free fall of the user, should a fall take place."
