Safety notice: H500-series harnesses
Honeywell Fall Protection France SAS has issued a safety notice for selected H500-series harnesses due to potential incorrect assembly, which could seriously compromise fall protection performance.
H500-series harnesses with front/sternal D-ring and leg buckles — incorrect assembly
Honeywell Fall Protection France SAS is issuing this safety notice for specific Honeywell Miller branded H500-series harness models.
Please find in Table 1 below the 39 potentially affected Article Numbers that were manufactured at our Nabeul, Tunisia facility between March 1st, 2025, and June 30th, 2025.
Within the framework of internal quality standards and testing procedures, it was determined that a limited number of these units may have been assembled with incorrect webbing routing through the front/sternal D-ring and/or leg buckles, posing a serious safety risk. This deviation may severely limit or even completely disable the safety function of the harness in the event of a fall from height. In specific circumstances, the front/sternal D-ring and leg buckles may not be able to withstand the necessary load requirements. This could result in serious, potentially fatal, injuries.
