Course Aim:
To familiarise candidates with the correct and safe use of harnesses and associated equipment for fall protection.
Further Information:
Legislation that governs work at height.
Correct method of inspection, storing and maintaining
Personal fall protection equipment.
Harness donning.
Access ways – protected & unprotected.
Climb and work at height using lanyards and associated safety equipment.
The course will involve elements of classroom and practice tuition.
Emphasis will, at all times, be on practical climbing under the safe supervision of an instructor.
Delegates will be continually assessed throughout the course. A short written paper and assessed climb will be used to measure attainment of objectives.
