    To provide delegates with an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and understanding of the health, safety and environmental issues relating to the Power industry.

Energy & Utility Skills (EU Skills) has worked with its industries to develop a portfolio of utility safety, health and environment awareness schemes, in line with HSE guidelines. The power scheme is designed for all persons involved in the operational activities of the electricity transmission and distribution industries who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

The course consists of core modules, which must be completed along with the required industry specific modules for the power industry which cover power generation and distribution and specific hazards to the power industry.
