Course Aim:
The sessions cover the legal aspects of The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR) 2002 and how these apply to attendees. This will enable them to understand their legal obligations and in turn help their employer comply with their legal duty. - • Have an understanding of DSEAR 2002 • Have an understanding of hazardous area classification • Understand the need for competence when selectingand or maintaining suitable apparatus for explosive atmospheres • Be able to identify the contents of an explosion protection document that forms part of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment
