Fall Protection Equipment Inspection IOSH accredited – 3 days

Course Aim

To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience to enable them to form a judgement on the state/condition of an item of personal fall protection equipment (PFPE), including a range of fall arrest, work positioning and personal suspension equipment.

• Responsibilities of the Duty Holder
• PPE Inspection legislation (Work at Height regulations, PUWER, LOLER, PPE at work Regulations, etc)
• Marking of equipment
• Record production
• Inspection procedures
• Fault diagnosis
• Controlled disposal procedures
• Theory and Practical assessments

This course is classroom based with hands-on practical exercises on inspection of equipment only

Aimed At

Personnel responsible for the statutory formal inspection of a variety of work at height personal fall protection equipment. Experience of using a range of PFPE is strongly recommended.
