Course Aim:

This BSIF Fit2Fit approved training course includes all aspects of the Health and Safety Executive’s Face Fitting guidance and protocols and will be delivered by a Fit2Fit Accredited Face Fitter.

By the end of the training, learners will be able to:

Understand the importance of HSE guidance
Understand the theory of Qualitative testing
Be able to set up a Qualitative Test Kit in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
Be able to complete sensitivity test
Be able to record details of tester and results of sensitivity test
Be able to instruct the candidate in the requirements of the test
Complete a fit test
Be able to identify poorly fitting face pieces and correct
Troubleshoot certain problems with Qualitative test equipment
Unassemble, store and maintain Qualitative Kit in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
