Course Aim

This training course includes all aspects of the Health and Safety Executive’s Face Fitting guidance and protocols and will be delivered by a Fit2Fit Qualified Face Fit Technician.

Course Outcome

By the end of the training, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of HSE guidance
  • Understand the theory of Qualitative testing
  • Be able to set up a Qualitative Test Kit in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
  • Be able to complete sensitivity test
  • Be able to record details of tester and results of sensitivity test
  • Be able to instruct the candidate in the requirements of the test
  • Complete a fit test
  • Be able to identify poorly fitting face pieces and correct
  • Troubleshoot certain problems with Qualitative test equipment
  • Unassemble, store and maintain Qualitative Kit in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
