CITB Rooftop Safety Training
Falls from rooftops remain one of the most common causes of fatal workplace accidents in construction, and the range of hazards involved, from fragile surfaces and unprotected edges to weather and restricted access, demands a structured approach to safe access. This CITB-accredited course gives operatives and supervisors the knowledge and practical skills to access a variety of rooftops safely. On successful completion, delegates receive a CITB Rooftop Safety and Access certificate.

Competent Climber Training
Fixed ladder climbing systems such as Latchways provide continuous fall protection on permanent structures, but using them safely requires correct equipment fitting, disciplined climbing technique and an understanding of what to do if something goes wrong at height. This course gives delegates the knowledge and practical skills to access protected structures using fixed ladder fall arrest systems, covering harness inspection and fitting, climbing techniques and emergency procedure awareness. On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency.

Embankment Access and Egress Training
Learn to access and work safely on slopes up to 50° using adjustable fall arrest and work restraint systems. You will practise selecting anchors, using PPE correctly, managing risks and responding to emergencies, building the confidence to operate safely under supervision.

Fall Protection Equipment Inspection Training
Inspect and assess working at height personal protective equipment (PPE) including harnesses, fall arrest lanyards and helmets in line with the Work at Height Regulations, LOLER and PUWER. You'll learn to identify faults, carry out formal inspections, maintain accurate records and follow controlled disposal procedures for equipment that fails inspection.

Harness and Lanyard User Training
This course familiarises delegates with the correct fitting and use of harnesses and associated fall protection equipment, covering pre-use inspection, safe use demonstrations, basic climbing techniques and site-specific access methods in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency valid for three years.

IOSH Fall Protection Equipment Inspection Training
Statutory inspection of personal fall protection equipment is a legal requirement and an inspector who cannot reliably identify a failing component puts lives at risk. This IOSH-accredited course gives delegates the knowledge and practical skills to inspect fall arrest, work positioning and personal suspension equipment correctly, identify faults, maintain inspection records and carry out controlled disposal. On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency valid for three years.

Signal Climbing Training
Railway signal structures present access challenges specific to the rail environment - fixed and portable ladder systems, protected and unprotected access routes, and the additional hazards of working near live infrastructure. This course gives delegates the knowledge and practical skills to climb signal structures safely using both access methods. On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency.

Working at Height and Rescue Reassessment Training
Renew your working at height and rescue qualifications by demonstrating continued competency in climbing protected and unprotected structures, using fall protection equipment and carrying out a rescue of a suspended colleague. This predominantly practical reassessment refreshes knowledge through hands-on exercises rather than formal classroom instruction. On successful completion, delegates receive a renewed certificate of competency.

Working at Height Awareness Training
Knowing which working at height controls to apply - and when further specialist training is needed - is a management and planning competency as much as a technical one. This course gives supervisors, managers and planners the knowledge to apply the hierarchy of control to working at height tasks, identify appropriate control measures and determine where further training is required. On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency.

On successful completion, delegates receive a certificate of competency.
