Practical assessment (CNC Automation only) using live water jetting equipment.
Classes of Safety awareness card are as follows:
• Operational staff which must include one module, please note Safety awareness must be completed first.
• Non-operational – Without a module for candidates who do not use water jetting equipment
• Operatives who use CNC Automation “closed hood” only, this must include a practical assessment.
The safety awareness course is an enabling course which allows Candidates to become operational status by adding WJA modules.
The course provides a foundation to the hazards involved with water jetting and gives an overview of WJA operational modules.
This course is not for Operational candidates who are looking to renew their cards as they must take a SA recap and a module that they already have on their card.
A personal copy of the appropriate code of practice for water jetting “Red or Blue code” is provided during the course and this document is used as a reference throughout.
