Quantitative Face Fit Test Training

Aimed at

Those wishing to attain the competence level and carry out face fit testing as stipulated in
document INDG 479.

Course Aim:

By the end of the session, learners will be able to:

• Understand the importance of INDG 479
• Understand the theory of quantitative testing
• Be able to set up a Portacount in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
• Be able to complete Daily Checks of equipment
• Be able to input data into required fields of TSI software
• Be able to instruct the candidate in the requirements of the test
• Complete a fit test in accordance with INDG 479
• Be able to identify poorly fitting face pieces & correct
• Interpret the Results & rectify any failures
• Trouble Shoot certain problems within the Portacount system
• Unassemble, store & maintain Portacount 8020 in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
