Servicing and inspection solutions we offer
Lifting equipment
Lifting equipment, such as tripods, winches and recovery blocks, must be serviced annually as per the manufacturer’s requirements. Under LOLER (1998), equipment used for man-riding must also undergo a six-monthly inspection by a competent person.
Fall arrest equipment
Fall protection gear, such as safety harnesses and lanyards, requires six-monthly inspections (not to be confused with testing). Our IOSH-trained technicians perform inspections on-site or in our specialist workshops and issue full documentation.
Respiratory protective equipment
All RPE — including full and escape B.A., airline apparatus and respirators — should be inspected monthly and serviced annually. SCBA and related systems require major overhauls every 6–10 years and cylinder testing every 5 years. Air purity for supplied systems must be checked regularly and oxygen self-rescuers leak-tested annually.
Gas detection
To maintain accuracy and reliability, gas detectors (both portable and fixed) should be calibrated every six months. Calibration verifies sensor response and alarm functionality against target gases. Our manufacturer-trained technicians perform full servicing, sensor replacement, and repairs, either on-site or in our specialist workshops.

Onshore S-Cape device
Designed for retail, warehouse and distribution environments, the onshore S-Cape personal evacuation system helps operatives make a controlled emergency descent from height. The sealed kit offers long operational life and straightforward on-site inspection.
Offshore S-Cape device
Built for offshore installations, the S-Cape offshore evacuation system supports controlled descent when standard evacuation routes are unavailable. It uses basic abseiling techniques, is compatible with life rafts and is supplied vacuum-sealed for reliable emergency readiness.
