First Aid Appointed Person
For many smaller and lower-risk organisations, the legal minimum first aid provision is to have a designated First Aid Appointed Person, but the role carries clear responsibilities that are not always well understood. This Skills for Care-endorsed course covers what the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require, what the Appointed Person is responsible for and what information to provide to emergency services when an incident occurs. Completed entirely online in around 20 minutes, it is designed to complement face-to-face training rather than replace it.
