Abrasive wheels are among the most dangerous pieces of equipment found in the workplace; misuse or poor maintenance can cause serious injury, and the law is clear on what operators and employers must do to manage the risk. This course covers the hazards associated with abrasive wheels, legal responsibilities under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and how to carry out correct inspection procedures. Completed entirely online, it is designed to complement practical training rather than replace it.
