The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust provide a wide range of hospital services at their two main locations, the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury, for nearly half a million people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales.
The NHS Trust were looking for a specialist safety company install a collective fall protection solution, in the form of freestanding (weight based) guardrails, to a roof at one of the hospital sites.
As a former subcontractor working for a construction company carrying out roof repairs, Arco Professional Safety Services was approached to install guardrails and provide expert guidance on the most effective methods for mitigating fall risks across all roof areas on the client’s sites.
