Client brief
WHP were required to access the roof of a football stadium to carry out a survey to enable the manufacture of a walkway which would allow safe access to communication antennas located on the roof of the main stand.
Our solution
Arco Professional Safety Services provided an IRATA qualified level 3 supervisor and equipment to set up and maintain a safe system of work. This was achieved by rigging temporary safety lines which the surveyor attached to lanyards and safety harness.
For the installation of the louvres, Arco Professional Safety Services employed rope access techniques, which proved to be the safest and most cost-effective method given the roof’s height, steep angles, and limited access.
Benefits of our solution
The safe system of work was set up quickly and efficiently which enabled the surveyors to carry out the works safely and in a timely manner. The system was removed at the end of the works.
