NRSWA Operative Reassessment Course (Street Works Renewal)
NRSWA qualifications are valid for five years and when they expire, operatives are no longer qualified to carry out street works on the public highway. This reassessment course enables experienced operatives to demonstrate continued competence across all relevant operative units and renew their Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) registration for a further five years. It focuses on confirming existing knowledge and practical skills rather than delivering the full training programme from scratch.

• Assessment
Multiple-choice theory tests and observed practical assessments for each unit, designed to confirm continued competence rather than certify completion of the full training programme.
Course delivered through tutor-led review sessions, knowledge checks, multiple-choice assessments and practical assessments for each unit. The emphasis is on validating existing competence rather than delivering full training. Duration may vary depending on the units selected.
