NRSWA Supervisor Reassessment Course (Street Works Renewal)
NRSWA Supervisor qualifications are valid for five years and when they expire, supervisors are no longer legally authorised to oversee street works on the public highway. This two-day reassessment course enables experienced supervisors to demonstrate continued competence across all relevant supervisor units and renew their Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) registration for a further five years. It focuses on confirming existing knowledge and competence rather than delivering the full training programme from scratch.

Reassessment of knowledge and competence in monitoring reinstatement in cold and hot lay bituminous materials, including correct placement, compaction and surface finish in line with SROH requirements.
• Unit S7: Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways
Reassessment of knowledge and competence in supervising the reinstatement of modular paving and concrete footways, including cutting, bedding, jointing and surface matching.
• Optional unit

• Assessment
Multiple-choice theory tests and observed practical assessments for each unit, designed to confirm continued competence rather than certify completion of the full training programme.
Course delivered through tutor-led review sessions, knowledge checks, multiple-choice assessments and practical assessments for each unit. The emphasis is on validating existing competence rather than delivering full training. Duration may vary depending on the units selected.
