NRSWA Unit O1 Signing, Lighting & Guarding Course (Street Works Operative)
Street works that are incorrectly signed, poorly lit or inadequately guarded put operatives, pedestrians and road users at serious risk - and the operative installing the equipment is the first line of defence. This one-day NRSWA Unit O1 course gives operatives the knowledge and practical skills to install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management systems safely and in compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and associated Codes of Practice. On successful completion, candidates receive an accredited certificate and a Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) Operative card for Unit O1, valid for five years
