PUWER
Work equipment that is unsuitable, poorly maintained or incorrectly operated is one of the most common causes of workplace injury. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) exist to prevent exactly that. This IOSH-approved, CPD-accredited course explains what PUWER requires of employers and employees, how to ensure equipment is suitable and properly maintained, and what protective controls must be in place. Completed entirely online, it supports organisations in working towards PUWER compliance. Practical application may require additional face-to-face training.
