Take on a charity abseil at Alton Towers for SEA LIFE TRUST this Halloween
Turn up the fright factor this Halloween! Abseil from the iconic Alton Towers ruins to raise vital funds for SEA LIFE TRUST, with support from Arco Professional Safety Services.
SEA LIFE TRUST Descent for the Deep Blue 2026
Are you a fearless fundraiser? If so, you’re invited to take on an unforgettable Halloween challenge at Alton Towers on Wednesday 14th October 2026, from 3pm to 10pm. Participants will abseil from the iconic ruins after dark in support of SEA LIFE TRUST.
Every penny raised will help SEA LIFE TRUST protect marine wildlife, care for rescued animals and safeguard our seas for future generations.
Arco experts supporting the challenge
Arco Professional Safety Services is helping to support this worthy cause by providing abseiling experts from our specialist team, together with the equipment needed for the day. Our expertise will help participants take on the descent with professional guidance and appropriate safety equipment.
Rise to the challenge
Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Participants are encouraged to aim for a £300 fundraising goal, but the target is not mandatory.
Participants must be aged 18 or over, be fully ambulant and able to climb several flights of steep stairs unaided. The event is not suitable during pregnancy and suitable footwear is required. Full eligibility, health and safety information is provided during registration.
