Rope access technicians work 200ft up on Thorpe Park rollercoaster

Rope access technicians have been carrying out safety checks on a rollercoaster at Thorpe Park this week.

Two workers scaled the 200ft ride to ensure that Thorpe Park’s ‘Stealth’ attraction is safe and ready for visitors to use when the park re-opens next month.

Using the appropriate rope access and fall protection equipment, workers had the task of meticulously checking that each section of the track adhered to health and safety regulations.

Industrial rope access can provide safe and cost effective solutions to difficult access problems, such as this, without the need for scaffolding.

Total Access (UK) Ltd provides both training and operational site services in Working at Height and Industrial Rope Access including rescue. So, if you would like more information please contact us today on 01785 850333 or sales@totalaccess.co.uk
