Total Access gets a new Harken access rail for their first class rope access training centre

The first in the UK to have this facility Total Access are excited to bring rope access delegates this added experience and training opportunity.

The Harken Access rail allows you to work externally with the freedom of movement, this is a high quality piece of equipment designed to make maintenance and access safe and easy.

Harken designed the Access Rail system so crews of very large yachts would have a secure system that allows freedom of movement, and the ability to lock into position while working outboard along the hull. The rail can be used not only for this but also as a great bit of kit for building maintenance and access.

The system not only provides you with the freedom to move safely at height but also has the ability to lock yourself into position as you work.

The Access Rail system is made up of two joined cars that allow the attachment of the personal suspension and the required fall-arrest systems. Its CE certification is among the most respected marks in the world and unique in the marine industry.

Total Access (UK) Ltd is an IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) approved trainer. IRATA is one of the few internationally recognised trade associations for rope access.
