Ladder Association Ladder User & Inspector

Course Aim

Delegates will be able to assess and determine when it’s appropriate to use ladders and stepladders, conduct a pre use examination, accurately inspect all aspects of ladders and stepladders and identify safety critical faults and record the findings in accordance with statutory requirements.

• Planning, organising, selecting and using STEP
• Assessing Risks • Pre-use Inspection procedures
• Initial inspection
• Asset register
• Inspection procedures
• Inspection documentation
• Disposal

The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition.

Aimed At

Aimed at personnel required to use ladders and/or stepladders at work. The successful delegates will be deemed competent to safely use and inspect ladders and stepladders.
