Working Aloft – Maritime Access & Rescue

Course Aim

To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience to allow crew to safely use fall protective equipment to access areas of maritime vessels in order to perform maintenance.

• Personal Protective Equipment – pre use inspection & use
• Positional working using abseil systems
• Temporary fall arrest systems
• Temporary work restraint
• Risk assessments
• Emergency procedures.
• Recovery of worker in suspension

Aimed At

Crew members who are required to identify working at height tasks and those required to enter dangerous spaces
