Course Aim

This course aims to provide an understanding of mental wellbeing, stress and common mental illnesses and how managers and team leaders can understand them, help individuals cope and improve the business’s approach to this critical topic.

 

Using case studies, statistics, physiological information, and practical guidance gained from developing the course within Arco and externally with global partner clients both pre and post pandemic, the content continues to build, evolve and be informed by all those who attend.

  • A guided vagal breathing session (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction).
  • Mental Wellbeing; a whole business approach.
  • Returning to work; example case studies of good practice.
  • Conducting stress risk assessments.
  • How managers can help individuals including the use of Wellness Action Plans.
  • Overall principles for physical and mental wellness.

 

Assessment: Continual assessment and opportunities to question and discuss.
