Courtesy Safety Notice Regarding AustriAlpin COBRA Buckles.
AustriAlpin Vertriebs GmbH recently posted the attached Courtesy Safety Notice (dated 14th January 2016) regarding AustriAlpin COBRA buckles & how these buckles can be checked.
In an extremely small quantity (0.0000005 % = 1 buckle out of 2 million), a mistake occurred at the rivets.

The buckle manufacturer requests that all their clients and end users of COBRA® buckles to do a visual check, as detailed in the attached Courtesy Safety Notice.
The AustriAlpin COBRA buckles have been on the market for approximately 10years, & used by a variety of harness / PPE manufacturers for a number of equipment models.
AustriAlpin COBRA buckles are also used on The Total Access (UK) Ltd. JAG10 Adjustable Woodpole Anchorage Strop (Product ID 6183), manufactured on or after 23rd July 2013 (picture also attached).
