Course Aim:
To refresh experience climbers rescue techniques to enable them to rescue a fellow climber, suspended by a fall arrest lanyard, from a tower, mast or pylon.
Further Information:
Tower Rescue Training is specifically targeted at those who are working on Masts & Towers in telecoms and utilities industries. The course will train the delegate in the skills and techniques necessary to safely remove a casualty to ground from a variety of different scenarios.
• Tower rescue kits with Lift and Lower Rescue
• Anchor point selection
• Self rescue
• Rescue off an access way
• Rescue from lanyards
• Casualty care
• Suspension Trauma
• No Shock Rescue kits (optional)
The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition. Emphasis will, at all times, be on practical rescues under the safe supervision of an instructor.
Delegates will be continually assessed throughout the course.
Course is designed to allow access to Arqiva sites under MATS accreditation
